What it is for

Social sign-in with DockRay lets you access your account using Google, GitHub, or Facebook. This allows you to sign in to the dashboard faster without having to use a separate DockRay password.

Google, GitHub, and Facebook

DockRay supports popular social sign-in providers, allowing you to choose the method that best fits the way you work.

  • Google,
  • GitHub,
  • Facebook.

When you select a provider, authentication takes place on the provider's side, and DockRay receives the information needed to identify your account.

Secure Account Linking

Your account is linked using a persistent identifier provided by the sign-in provider. Linking to an existing account based on an email address is only allowed when the provider has verified that address.

Social Sign-In and 2FA

Signing in with Google, GitHub, or Facebook does not bypass DockRay's security measures. If two-factor authentication is required for your account, it remains part of the sign-in process.

Fewer Passwords, Faster Access

Social sign-in simplifies access to monitoring, especially for teams that already use Google or GitHub in their daily work. You don't need to remember another password while still benefiting from DockRay's security mechanisms.

  3. Sign in with your chosen provider and authorize access.
